Lauren’s path into residential construction began unexpectedly, rooted in a background in Broadcast Media and a Journalism degree from England. As a former documentary filmmaker drawn to asking questions and understanding human stories, Lauren transitioned into homebuilding after her own build revealed a major gap in the market: clients needed clearer, empathetic guidance through the construction & selection process, from the very people building their homes. That insight sparked her mission to humanize construction by creating educational resources like our Welcome Guide, transforming complex decisions into a transparent, confident journey.

Today, as NVH Sales & Customer Relations Manager, Lauren oversees sales performance, lead management, marketing strategy, home design, and the end-to-end customer experience. By bringing marketing and sales fully in-house, her goal was to ensure New Victorian Homes is the top-of-mind lifestyle builder across Newfoundland & Labrador. Lauren’s work centers on building strong communication systems, fostering deep trust, nurturing leads, and closing sales​, all while creating a customer-centric environment where clients feel truly supported from breaking ground to move-in day.

What sets New Victorian Homes apart is our commitment to relationship-building and radical clarity. Lauren believes that educating the market is the key to serving it well, and our team consistently adapts to modern homebuyer needs through empathy, open communication, and innovative home plans. Outside of work, Lauren loves supporting local community initiatives, mentoring women in the industry, cooking, writing, escaping into the woods, hunting, hiking, and spending time near the water. Although born in England, her roots run deep in Newfoundland​, with extended family connecting her back to the owners of NVH and the Griffiths of Ship Harbour. The team at the office often joke that she knows more about exploring the island than they do; at this point, Lauren is truly a bayman at heart.
